About the Workshop
During our sessions, we will focus on handstands with elements of stretching/flexibility and strength/conditioning training, which I am deeply convinced are necessary to successfully learn one of the most difficult disciplines such as the handstand.

About Pavel Stankevich
Pavel Stankevich, born 1990 in Ukraine, is a circus artist specialising in handstands and contortion. He began circus training at 14 and studied at the Kyiv Municipal Academy of Variety and Circus Arts. Known for combining gymnastics with ballet-like precision, Pavel won a bronze medal at the International Circus Festival in Paris in 2011. He has performed worldwide, including with Cirque du Soleil and Atomic Saloon Show in Las Vegas. His television appearances include Das Supertalent and The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where he showcased his unique abilities.

Levels
Intermediate – Advanced
This level is for you if you can jump/press into a straight or straddle handstand and can balance firmly for a while, so we can build on that.
Beginners
For those who have trouble doing a handstand even with a wall behind them, we will learn some very basic things that will help you get your handstand practice on the right track.

The Location
Laboratorium is an urban gym in the city of Zurich with a focus on calisthenics, handstand, functional training, mobility training and movement in general.
