About the workshop

"Basics of Handstands", for beginners and intermediate
In this two-day workshop Yuval will teach you the basics of handstands. He’ll help you establish a solid base necessary to take your handstand practice to a new level, safely and efficiently.
You’ll learn the technical preparations for handstands and come to understand and experience the alignment points of a straight line handstand. You’ll experiment with some different handstand shapes, learn balance strategies, and play with various wall drills, as well as different ways to enter a handstand.
This workshop is for beginners who can hold a handstand for 20 seconds against the wall. It is also for intermediate handstanders who want to revisit the basics and improve alignment and control.
"Advanced Handstand", for Intermediates and Advanced
This workshop is intended for people who have already spent a considerable amount of time practicing handstands and can hold a solid free handstand for at least 30 seconds.
We will focus on refining the different shapes of handstands (straight, tuck and straddle) and adapting them for advanced level transitions and sequences, mounts and press to handstand, and One Arm Handstand exploration. Both days are intended to give students a better understanding of how to practise complex handstands, and how to create or refine their own practice routine.
About Yuval Ayalon
For the past 12 years, Yuval has been a full-time handstand teacher, building on a 20-year career as an international and collegiate gymnast. He spent 8 years performing as an acrobat in Las Vegas’ Le Rêve, where his passion for handbalancing truly began. Guided by other artists and teachers, and inspired by the late Claude Victoria, he developed his own teaching approach to this unique art form.

Today, Yuval shares his experience through workshops, intensives, and regular teaching at the professional circus school, Académie Fratellini in Paris. He holds handstand workshops around the world, helping others deepen their skills and understanding of balance.
